In the 25th edition of the “Best of the Year 2021” awards, @revistadevinhos assigned the Excellence Award to Blandy’s Madeira Listrão 1977 🍷🥇 •
Made exclusively with Listrão grapes (produced only on the island of Porto Santo), these were harvested by hand in 1977 in the William Leacock vineyards, in one of the last harvests he made on his property – Quinta do Ribeiro Salgado.
After a boat trip to the island of Madeira, they aged for 44 years in the cellars of @blandyswinelodge and, in this last stock, only 751 bottles were produced, which makes Listrão 1977 a very rare and exclusive wine ⛵️🍇
